Tarjuma ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Tarjuma mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

• Voice input when you use voice translation (processed via speech recognition on your device and/or our translation services)
• Images you capture or import for camera translation (processed for optical character recognition and translation)
• Favourites and translation history stored locally on your device
• Language preferences and app settings you configure
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
• Device information such as device model, operating system version, and app version (for diagnostics and support)
• Usage data such as feature usage counts (e.g., voice and camera sessions) to enforce free-tier limits and improve the App
• Crash and performance logs if you opt in to share diagnostics with Apple
1.3 Information We Do Not Collect
• We do not require account registration to use Tarjuma
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use collected information to:
• Provide translation services (text, voice, and camera)
• Store your translation history and favourites on your device
• Deliver offline translation when language packs are installed
• Process subscriptions and restore purchases via Apple's App Store
• Send optional local notifications you have permitted (engagement reminders)
• Improve app performance, fix bugs, and develop new features
• Comply with legal obligations
IMPORTANT — Translation content:
Text, voice, and image data sent for online translation are transmitted to third-party translation and OCR providers solely to return translation results. We do not use your translation content for advertising.

Tarjuma may use the following categories of third-party services:
Google Translate API .............. Online text translation
OCR.space / Apple Vision .......... Text extraction from images
Apple Speech Framework ............ On-device speech recognition
Apple App Store / StoreKit ........ Subscription billing and restore
Apple Push Notification Service ... Local scheduled notifications (on-device scheduling)

4. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION

On-device storage:
Translation history, favourites, language preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device using iOS storage mechanisms.
Temporary files:
Exported audio files and cropped images may be stored temporarily and removed by the system.
Server transmission:
Online translation requests are processed in real time; we do not maintain a long-term server archive of your translation content unless required by law.
You may delete translation history and favourites within the App at any time.

5. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS

Tarjuma Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card information.

If you use Tarjuma outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to such transfer.
