App: Passport Pic - ID & Visa Tool (“the App”), distributed on the Apple App Store.
1. Who we are
Passport Pic - ID & Visa Tool is a mobile application for creating and editing passport-style, ID, and related photos, including optional tools and guidance. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App may access, how it is used, and your choices.
For privacy-related requests, contact: sami.ios798@gmail.com.
2. Information the App accesses on your device
Camera
If you grant permission, the App can capture photos for editing and export. Processing occurs primarily on your device unless a feature explicitly uses network-based processing as described in Section 5.
Photo Library
If you grant permission, you can choose existing images to edit. The App accesses images you select (and, where applicable, saves to the library only when you choose Save or a similar action).
Files and sharing
When you save or share an image or document, the App uses the system share sheet or writes to locations you choose (for example, the Photos library).
Local app data
The App may store preferences and content on your device, such as: selected country or settings, whether you completed onboarding, a local history of edited items (including image data you saved to history), and timestamps used to limit how often certain ads are shown. This data stays on your device unless you share it yourself or a third-party service collects technical data as described below.
Accounts
You are not required to create an account to use core features of the App.
3. How we use your information
We use the information described in this policy to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App’s features (including layout, sizing, cropping, export, and optional tools where enabled).
- Show advertisements where enabled, and support ad delivery and measurement in line with the ad network’s policies.
- Apply configuration values from our servers (for example, whether ads are shown, banner refresh behavior, or links such as an App Store listing URL for update or review prompts).
- Deliver optional local reminders if you enable notifications.
We do not sell your personal information in the conventional sense of selling lists of users to data brokers.
4. Third-party services (SDKs)
The App integrates third-party software development kits (“SDKs”). Depending on your use of the App, device settings, and region, these providers may process technical and usage-related data (such as device identifiers, IP address, app version, and interaction with ads or configuration services) under their own privacy policies.
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
Used to display advertising formats that may include banner, interstitial, rewarded, native-style, and app open ads when enabled. Google’s policies and privacy documentation apply. See Google’s resources on advertising and privacy for details.
Firebase (Google)
The App uses Firebase Remote Config to adjust certain in-app behavior and parameters without requiring you to install a new app version for every change. Firebase Core and related components are used to support Firebase services included in the build. Additional Firebase products may be configurable in the developer’s Firebase project; if new products are added to a future version of the App, this policy may be updated accordingly.
Apple
The App runs on iOS and uses Apple frameworks for permissions, notifications, photo library, camera, and sharing. Apple’s privacy policy applies to Apple’s processing.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of Google (including AdMob and Firebase) and Apple for the most current details.
5. AI and image processing
Some features may be described as AI or automated. Depending on the tool, processing may occur on your device, on servers operated by us or our service providers, or through subprocessors used to perform inference or conversion. Do not submit images you are not entitled to use. You remain responsible for compliance with laws and third-party rights (including portrait and publicity rights where applicable).
Where processing occurs on a server, data is handled for the purpose of fulfilling your request and operating the service, consistent with this policy and applicable law. We do not use your images to train public models unless we separately disclose that and obtain any consent required by law.
6. Notifications
If you enable notifications, reminders may be scheduled and delivered locally on your device through iOS. You can turn off notifications at any time in Settings → [App name] → Notifications or through any in-app controls we provide.
7. Data retention
Content you do not save may exist only for the duration of your session. Items you save to local history remain on your device until you delete them using in-app controls where available. Data processed by third-party SDKs is retained according to those providers’ practices.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing purposes. If you believe a child has provided information inappropriately, contact sami.ios798@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.
9. International users
If you use the App from outside your home country, information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing, or to object to certain uses. To exercise rights that are not already available through iOS Settings or in-app controls, email sami.ios798@gmail.com with a clear description of your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
You can withdraw or limit permission for optional features (camera, photo library, notifications) through iOS Settings.
For advertising, device-level settings such as Apple’s Limit Ad Tracking / Personalized Ads options (as labeled in your iOS version) may affect how some ad partners process data; availability and labels vary by region and iOS version.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy, except where applicable law requires a different approach (such as additional notice or consent).
12. California / GDPR-style summary (informational)
Depending on your jurisdiction, privacy laws may grant you additional rights (for example, rights to know, delete, or opt out of certain “sales” or “sharing” as defined by local law). Contact sami.ios798@gmail.com to submit a request. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
