PRIVACY POLICY — Currency Converter (Android)

Effective date: May 12, 2026

Contact for privacy questions: sami.ios798@gmail.com

This Privacy Policy describes how the Currency Converter mobile application for Android (“App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who this applies to

This policy applies to users of the Currency Converter Android app distributed through Google Play (or other channels where the same build is offered).

2. Information the App processes

2.1 Information you provide indirectly through use

The App is designed to work without creating a user account. We do not require you to sign in with a name, email, or phone number to use core conversion features.

2.2 Local data on your device

To improve speed and usability, the App may store data locally on your device, including for example:

• Cached or recently used exchange rates and related data

• Your selected currencies, quick pairs, or similar preferences

• Appearance settings (such as light/dark/system mode)

• Notification-related preferences (for example, whether you were prompted for notifications)

You can clear much of this data through your device settings (for example, by clearing app storage or uninstalling the App).

2.3 Network activity

When you use features that require up-to-date data, the App sends requests over the internet (typically HTTPS) to third-party services, such as:

• Public or commercial exchange-rate or market-data providers used to show rates and trends

• Optional features that rely on a remote service (for example, an optional AI-related forecast or analysis endpoint), which receive the technical inputs needed for that feature (such as currency pair and timeframe context)

We do not intend to collect sensitive categories of personal data through the App. Do not submit confidential or highly sensitive information into any free-text fields if the App provides them.

3. Notifications

If you enable notifications, the App may schedule local notifications on your device (for example, daily reminders related to exchange trends). These alerts are generated on-device according to your settings and OS permissions. We do not operate our own push-notification backend for these local alerts.

4. Firebase (Google)

We use Google Firebase, including Firebase Remote Config, to deliver configuration to the App without requiring an app update. Examples of what Remote Config may control include: links to the Play Store listing, optional “update available” prompts, whether ads are enabled, ad unit identifiers, and related tuning values.

Google’s services may process technical and device-related information in line with Google’s documentation and policies. You can read more here:

https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

5. Advertising (Google Mobile Ads / AdMob)

When advertising is enabled through Remote Config, the App may display ads using Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google may use identifiers and related signals associated with advertising to deliver and measure ads, subject to your device and account settings and Google’s policies. Learn more here:

https://policies.google.com/privacy

You may be able to limit ad personalization through your Android device settings and your Google account.

6. Google Play In-App Review

If you choose to rate the App, we may use Google Play’s In-App Review flow. That experience is provided by Google Play and is governed by Google’s terms and privacy policy, not by a custom account system operated by us.

7. “More apps” and external links

The App may show links or promotional cards for other applications. Opening those links typically leaves the App and is handled by your browser or the Play Store app. Those third parties have their own privacy practices.

8. Security

We rely on industry-standard transport security (such as HTTPS where applicable) and Android platform protections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; use the App at your own discretion.

9. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction for consent without parental involvement). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for behavioral advertising through the App. If you believe a child has provided personal information in a way that concerns you, contact us at the email above.

10. International users

If you use the App outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers (for example, Google) operate, as described in their policies.

11. Retention

Locally stored data remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the App. Data processed by third parties (such as Google) is retained according to those third parties’ policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top. Material changes may also be reflected in the in-app legal section where practical.

13. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information, or to object to certain uses. Many controls for advertising and device identifiers are available in your Android and Google account settings. To exercise privacy-related requests with us, contact:

sami.ios798@gmail.com

14. Disclaimer

Exchange rates, charts, trends, and any optional AI-style outputs are provided for general information only. They are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always verify information before making financial decisions.

15. No legal relationship

Use of the App does not create a professional client relationship. For regulated advice, consult a qualified professional.
