Design For Crafts — Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Design For Crafts (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Design For Crafts mobile application (“App”) on iOS devices. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2. Overview
Design For Crafts helps you browse craft design assets, create canvas projects, and export finished designs. We respect your privacy and aim to collect only the information needed to provide the App’s features.
3. Information Stored on Your Device
Projects you save in the editor—including canvas layout, text, images, fonts, and thumbnails—are stored locally in the App’s documents directory on your iPhone or iPad. We do not upload your saved designs to our servers unless you explicitly share them using iOS share features (e.g., Messages, Mail, or social apps).
4. Photo Library and Camera
If you set a custom background or export a design, the App may request access to your Photo Library or Camera through Apple’s system permission dialogs. We only access photos you explicitly select. Exported images are saved to your photo library only when you tap “Save to Gallery.” You can revoke this access anytime in iOS Settings → Design For Crafts.
5. Catalog and Content Delivery
Design assets, categories, and preview images may be downloaded from our content delivery network or Firebase Storage when you browse the catalog. These requests may include standard technical data such as your IP address, device type, operating system version, and general app version for content delivery, security, and troubleshooting.
6. Analytics and Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services such as Firebase (Google) for app infrastructure, content hosting, crash reporting, or analytics. These providers may collect device identifiers, crash logs, and usage statistics according to their own privacy policies. 7. Purchases and Subscriptions
If you subscribe to Pro features, payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Apple may share limited purchase information with us (such as subscription status) to enable Pro features.
8. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not require you to create an account to use the App. We do not knowingly collect precise location data, contacts, or microphone recordings for core App functionality.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
Saved projects remain on your device until you delete them in Saved Data (Settings tab) or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored projects from your device. We do not retain copies of your saved designs on our servers.
11. Your Choices and Rights
You may:
- Revoke Photo Library or Camera access in iOS Settings → Design For Crafts
- Delete saved projects inside the App
- Opt out of personalized ads through your device’s Apple privacy settings where applicable
- Contact us to ask questions about your data
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws (such as access, correction, or deletion requests).
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect content delivered through our services. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk regarding locally stored content.
13. International Users
If you use the App outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy in the App and update the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
