This Privacy Policy explains how AI Voice-Notes (“the App”, “we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the App on your devices. Please read this policy carefully to understand how your data is handled.

1. What AI Voice-Notes does

AI Voice-Notes is a voice note‑taking and transcription app. It allows you to:

Record your voice

Convert speech to text

Organize notes into folders

Use AI features to generate summaries, action items, and keywords

Search and export notes

We designed the App to store your content primarily on your device, with limited and clear use of third‑party services.

2. Information we collect and how we use it

2.1 Data stored on your device

The following data is stored locally on your device:

Voice recordings (temporarily, during or around recording sessions)

Transcribed text / notes

Note titles, content, tags, and AI‑generated summaries

Folder names and structure

Basic app settings and preferences (e.g., default language)

How we use this data:

To display your notes, folders, and history in the App

To allow you to edit, search, organize, and export your notes

To improve your user experience (e.g., remembering language or layout preferences)

We do not automatically upload this local content to our own servers.

2.2 Data sent for AI processing

If you choose to use AI features (for example, “Process with AI”), the App sends specific data to an AI backend:

The text content of your note (transcript)

The selected language or locale

A prompt describing what the AI should do (e.g., generate summary, action items, keywords)

Purpose:

To generate AI‑powered summaries, action items, keywords, or other insights based on your note text

To return structured results back to the App so you can see them in your note

We do not send your entire device storage or unrelated personal information; only the text needed to perform the requested AI operation.

Depending on your configuration, this AI backend may be a third‑party provider (for example, a hosted AI API). That provider processes your text according to its own privacy policy and terms. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any AI backend you configure or use.

2.3 Advertising and third‑party SDKs

AI Voice-Notes uses Google Mobile Ads / AdMob to display:

Banner ads

Interstitial ads

Rewarded ads

App open ads

When these ads load and display, Google may collect certain information automatically, such as:

Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID)

Approximate location (based on IP address)

App usage events related to ads (e.g., impressions, clicks)

Technical information such as device model, OS version, and network information

Purpose:

To display, personalize (where applicable), and measure ads

To detect fraud and maintain the integrity of the ad network

2.4 Usage information (in-app)

Within the App itself, we may observe:

Basic app interactions (e.g., which screens are used)

Support features like language selection, folder navigation, and search

We do not run a separate analytics service that sends detailed usage profiles to our own servers.

To function correctly, AI Voice-Notes may request access to:

Microphone – to record your voice

Speech recognition – to convert your speech into text

Storage / Files – to create temporary export files (TXT, PDF) and share them

These permissions are requested by the operating system (iOS, Android) and can be managed from your device settings. If you deny a permission, some features of the App may not be available.

4. How we store and protect your data

4.1 Local storage

Your notes and settings are stored locally on your device using the platform’s secure storage and file systems. We rely on the security measures provided by iOS / Android and do not implement our own remote user database.

4.2 AI processing

When AI features are used, note text is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to the configured AI backend. We do not publicly share your note content and only use it to produce the requested AI output.

4.3 Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, such as:

Using reputable SDKs and packages

Using encrypted network connections (HTTPS) for remote requests

Avoiding unnecessary collection of personally identifying data

However, no method of storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk and should avoid storing extremely sensitive information.

5. Your choices and controls

You control how you use AI Voice-Notes:

Microphone & speech recognition: You can decline permissions; you will then not be able to record voice notes.

AI processing: You can choose not to enable AI processing. In that case, your notes remain local and are not sent to the AI backend.

Deleting notes: You can delete notes, recordings, and folders from inside the App.

Exporting data: You can export selected notes as TXT or PDF for your own backup or sharing.

If you uninstall the App from your device, all locally stored notes and settings will typically be removed from that device.

6. Children’s privacy

AI Voice-Notes is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has used the App and shared personal data, please contact us at sami.ios798@gmail.com so we can help you manage or delete that information, as appropriate.

7. International users

Depending on where you live, your data may be processed on servers located in other countries (for example, where the AI backend or advertising networks operate). By using the App, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information according to this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:

The App’s features

Legal or regulatory requirements

Third‑party services we use (such as AI backends or ad providers)

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. In some cases, we may also show a notice inside the App or in the app store listing. Your continued use of the App after changes are published means you accept the updated policy.
